Originating as GRG’s Liquid Chemical Department in 2002, Grand Energy has undergone over two decades of steady development and constant internal integration and built mature market networks, complemented by a professional market research team. The company consists of the following departments: Asset Allocation Dept., Olefin Business Dept., Overseas Business Dept., Research & Development Dept. and Functional Dept., as well as Grand Energy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Its product portfolio ranges from PTA, Methanol, Ethylene Glycol, PVC, AO, Polyester Staple Fiber /Bottle Grade Polyester Chips, Polystyrene and plastic products. The company properly hedges against commodity pricing risks with crude oil, naphtha and other upstream raw materials, essentially forming a platform servicing upstream and downstream customers at its core. With crude oil as the source material, the company has built a trading and distribution system of products including aromatics, olefins and other derivatives based on regional demands and market insights, and balances risks via futures and other financial instruments.

HAP, the logistics platform of Grand Energy, aims to connect the full logistics chain covering cargo owners, logistics carriers, drivers and factory warehouses, to realize real-time visualization and online digitization of operational data such as logistics records, vehicle trajectories and abnormal alerts, which makes multi-party collaboration easier and improves service experience for all Grand Energy’s upstream and downstream clients.
