On the afternoon of March 26, CPC Grand Resources General Branch convened a general meeting of CPC members for the election of the next CPC General Branch Committee. 62 CPC members present at the meeting voted by secret ballot. 5 CPC members were elected as members of the new CPC General Branch Committee, namely Weng Qidong, Zou Minggang, Dai Xiaoyun, Wang Liqun and Dai Yumin, with Weng Qidong as secretary of the new CPC General Branch Committee. After the election, Weng Qidong made a speech on behalf of the new CPC General Branch Committee, mobilizing and arranging the CPC history study and education activities. He also expressed his earnest hope that CPC members would strive to be pioneers and devote themselves to the development of the Company and Chinese society with a sincere attitude and positive outlook.

The meeting also explained the restructuring of the CPC organization at Grand Resources. Following the instructions from the superior CPC Committee, CPC Grand Resources Branch has been restructured into CPC Grand Resources General Branch consisting of 4 branches, namely Grand Energy branch, Grand Rubber and Grand Union branch, Zhejiang New Vision Imp. & Exp. branch and functional branch.
